Specialist 1:1 and Group Supervision for Professionals

Empowering professionals to make staff and children’s wellbeing more than just a tick-box exercise

As a registered Occupational Therapist, certified Child Psychotherapist and Mental Health Specialist I bring a wealth of expertise and a deeply compassionate approach to clinical supervision for staff working in schools, the charity sector and private practice.

With over 2 decades of experience working in acute inpatient psychiatry, community mental health crisis and mental health promotion within the NHS / CAMHS, charity sector and the full breadth of the education system, I have developed a unique skill set that empowers staff to navigate the complexities of supporting young peoples’ mental health and well-being.

My extensive background includes working directly with children, young people, and adults in diverse and challenging environments with conditions ranging from autism and ADHD to borderline personality disorder and psychosis. I am also an experienced suicide prevention trainer and qualified autism diagnostician (ADOS-2). This hands-on experience has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of the pressures faced by professionals working with children and young people in a variety of settings, from managing complex emotional needs to fostering a supportive and inclusive organisational culture. My clinical background and training also enables me to draw on a wealth of theoretical knowledge enabling me to provide practical, evidence-based strategies to help professionals feel confident and capable in their work.

How I Work

Drawing upon trauma-informed approach, I strive to create a safe, reflective, and growth-oriented supervision space and through the use a scientifically grounded, therapeutic lens I am committed to supporting professionals in exploring challenges, enhancing their resilience, and developing their skills to promote positive mental health throughout their work. My approach is tailored to the unique needs of each individual or team, ensuring that supervision is both impactful and transformative.

By combining my clinical knowledge with a passion for children’s mental health, I can help professionals to not only address the immediate challenges they may be facing, but also build sustainable practices that support their own well-being and that of the young people they serve.

“I love how you do [your supervision] sessions. The way you pose questions makes so much more sense than how it would be traditionally done. If everyone thought and acted the way you do the world would be a much better place”
