Specialist ADHD & Autism Coaching
Helping neurodivergent young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive — in their own unique way.
Is your child navigating the world with ADHD or autism and feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or just out of sync?
Has your child received a diagnosis only to be sent packing with zero tools, support strategies or ways forward in a highly neurotypical world?
Or perhaps you suspect your child is neurodivergent but you simply aren’t willing to sit on a 3-year waiting list or pay anything upwards of a month’s salary to find out what you’ve known all along.
However their differences might be showing up - difficulty managing big feelings, navigating friendships, struggling at school or college, or just finding the confidence to be themselves in a world that doesn’t always get it - I do get it and am here to help.
What I Offer
I provide my unique brand of creative and bespoke 1:1 coaching and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 8 to 25 struggling with ADHD and/or autism, whether they have a diagnosis or not.
Since no two brains are the same, no two coaching sessions are either and I pride myself on meeting each young person exactly where they’re at that day.
The types of things sessions might include are:
Talking (as much or as little as feels right)
Play, art and creative expression (particularly if the words aren’t coming easy)
Practical tools and strategies for managing everyday challenges
Support with emotional regulation, identity, self-esteem, and social communication
A space to feel heard, accepted, and understood — just as they are.
Why Work With Me?
I bring decades of professional expertise, real-world experience blended with a genuine passion for my work and I love nothing more than supporting those young people who all too often fall through the cracks.
When working with me you’ll gain the benefit of my following credentials:
Trained autism diagnostician (ADOS 2)
5+ years working as a consultant Occupational Therapist for the National Autistic Society with young people and adults with moderate to profound autism
Creator of an internationally recognised therapeutic boxing service for young people experiencing challenges around ADHD, anger, and aggression
20+ years of hands-on experience supporting children and young adults with ADHD and autism across educational, therapeutic, and community settings
A proven track record of building trust and engagement with even the most reluctant or hard-to-reach young people
“BTW [our daughter] said she really enjoyed last week’s session - that is a first for all therapy sessions she’s ever had so far! So we are very happy with how things are going.”
How I Work
I work predominantly online…you may be reticent but trust me, this means I can support young people across the breadth of the UK in a way that’s flexible, familiar and often much more comfortable than face-to-face work.
Sessions are held via secure video call and can be adapted to suit attention spans, sensory preferences, and communication needs (aka I will pull out all the stops to make them engaging, interactive and fun)!
I also offer a limited number of home visits for families living in and around the Whitley Bay area (North Tyneside), who prefer in-person support - just let me know when we connect.
Ready to Find Out More?
If you're a young person (or a parent/carer) looking for tailored, compassionate, and creative support then I’d love to hear from you (and I strive diligently to keep my waiting lists to a minimum, so no long waits after our initial call)!
